Questions about starting an oven cleaning business
Is this a franchise?
No. You get a franchise-style start, with training and a business set-up, but with no long-term contract and no lock-in. You run your own oven cleaning business.
Where is the training held?
On the road in South East London (the Bromley area), working on real oven cleaning jobs with our head trainer. If you live elsewhere in the UK you travel in for the week.
How long is the training?
One week on the road. Day 1 you shadow and learn the basics. Days 2 to 5 are hands-on: taking doors off, dismantling, scraping, scrubbing and putting everything back together.
What if I am not ready by the end of the week?
If we have concerns about your skill level by day 5, you are invited back for extra training days free of charge. The aim is that you are ready to go.
Is there support after the training?
Ongoing support is part of the full on-the-job business setup. Training only covers the training week, and training plus tank covers the training and the tank.
Who runs the training?
Lee, our head trainer, leads the training. You learn on real oven cleaning jobs, one week on the road.
What does it cost?
Training only: £1,500. Training plus tank: £3,000. Full on-the-job business setup: £5,500. An oven cleaning tank on its own: £2,000. Send an enquiry and we will talk you through which option suits you.
What is in each option?
Training only is the one-week course. Training plus tank is the training and an oven cleaning tank, and nothing else: no installation, tools and equipment, website or ongoing support. The full on-the-job business setup adds tank installation, all the tools and equipment, a website, office and business set-up, and ongoing support.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No long-term contracts and no lock-in. That is the point of doing it this way.
