Tenements, the West End and the Southside
Glasgow sits on the River Clyde and is known for its tenement housing: the city's tenements are a defining part of its streets, from the West End around Partick, Hillhead and Finnieston to the Southside around Shawlands and Pollokshields and the East End around Dennistoun. Some of the city's tenements have been converted into cafes, bars, boutiques and hotels, and many are still homes.
Because tenement flats are packed closely together, one street can mean a lot of separate kitchens.
Students, families and the Greater Glasgow area
Glasgow has several universities, including the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University, and a large student population living in flats across the city. Beyond the city boundary there are towns such as Paisley, Clydebank and East Kilbride, which are all within reach if you were to grow later.
Only the training week itself is in London. Once you have finished it you run your business in and around Glasgow, with no long-term contract.
Travelling from Glasgow to London
Avanti West Coast runs trains from Glasgow Central to London Euston, and there are flights from the Glasgow area to London airports. Because it is a long trip, it makes sense to plan to arrive the day before and stay in London for the week. From Euston, Bromley South has direct trains from London Victoria once you are across the city. We have not verified journey times, so check them for your dates.

It is a long way, so plan to book travel and accommodation for the full week. Ask us for the dates well ahead and plan a day either side.
Do you hold any training in Scotland?
No. The training is only in South East London (Bromley area). After the week you go home and run your business in Glasgow.
Can I run the business in Glasgow after the training?
Yes. After your week you run your oven cleaning business from Glasgow. The full on-the-job business setup includes the tank installation, tools and equipment, a website, office and business set-up and ongoing support.
