Start an oven cleaning business in Edinburgh
A franchise alternative with no long-term contract and no lock-in: hands-on training, a tank option or a full business set-up.
Edinburgh is Scotland's capital, in the south-east of the country between the Firth of Forth and the Pentland Hills. If you are in Edinburgh and want to run your own oven cleaning business, the training is a long way south: one week in South East London.
Learn from a working group
You train inside a real, busy multi-van oven cleaning operation, with an in-house marketing company in the same group. Training is in South East London, then you run your business where you live.
Old Town tenements, the New Town and Marchmont
Edinburgh's housing is shaped by its history. The Old Town and the Georgian New Town are together a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and large parts of the city, including Marchmont, are tenement flats. Other areas people mention are Leith, Stockbridge, Morningside, Portobello and Tollcross.
Tenement streets mean many separate kitchens within a short walk, which is the practical point for anyone planning to clean ovens.
Students, festivals and a hospitality-heavy city
Edinburgh has four universities, including the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University, and a large student population. It is also the home of the Edinburgh International Festival and the Fringe, and the second most visited tourist destination in Britain, so hotels, pubs and restaurants are a big part of the city.
We make no claims about trade or earnings. The training is hands-on, on real jobs, and you decide where you work afterwards.
Travelling from Edinburgh to London
Edinburgh Waverley has London North Eastern Railway trains to London King's Cross, and Edinburgh also has an airport if you would prefer to look at flights. Because it is a long journey, it makes sense to plan to stay in London for the week. From King's Cross you continue to the Bromley area, where Bromley South has direct trains from London Victoria. We have not verified journey times, so check them for your chosen dates.
